Cuban Tapas

CESTA DE EMPANADAS
A sampling of our homemade empanadas filled with beef and chicken picadillos. Served in a basket with jalapeno chimichurri dipping sauce.

HAVANA CROQUETTES
Crisp Serrano ham croquettes set on palm leaf with a sweet and spicy pineapple salsa. Painted with a palette of dipping sauces. 

SPANISH PIQUILLO PEPPERS
Roasted Spanish piquillo peppers filled with chorizo and porcini mushrooms and served with a creamy cabrales cheese sauce.    

ROPA VIEJA NUEVO LATINO
Traditional ropa vieja served over sweet potato cake and crispy red onions.

TAMALE DE CARACOL
Spiced Bahamian conch served in a traditional steamed Cuban fresh corn tamale served with a piquant conch escabeche.

CUBAN CALAMARI
Fried calamari dipped in sweet- chili sauce.  

CEVICHE SALVAJE
Yuca’s own “wild” ceviche of fresh grouper, shrimp, calamari, octopus and lobster forged in ginger-lime marinade and laced with scotch bonnet pepper.
Some say it’s aphrodisiac!

DONA GLORIA’S FRIJOLES NEGROS
A rich Cuban black bean soup, served with chopped scallions.   

GAZPACHO SOBE
Iberian style chilled soup made with garden ripe tomatoes, cucumbers and bell peppers. Drizzled with a light cilantro oil.
A hot weather favorite.

SOPA DEL DIA
Daily soup featuring seasonal ingredients and made from scratch.

Salads

YUCA GARDEN GREENS
Fresh picked farmer’s green tossed with a very Caribbean guava vinaigrette and farmer’s cheese.                                

GRILLED FILLET OF SALMON CHINO LATINO SALAD
Marinated in an oriental dressing, seared rare and presented on a light salad of watercress, yuca, black olives, avocado with a Peruvian style yellow pepper dressing. 

CHURRASCO SALAD CUBANO
Grilled marinated skirt steak strips tossed in chili-garlic mojo on a Caribbean salad with watercress, steamed yuca and avocado.  

CALAMARI SALAD
Tender calamari soaked in beer and spice, dredged in seasoned flour a crisp fried.
Served on farmer’s greens with garbanzo vinaigrette.                                      

CAESAR SALAD
The traditional salad (of latino birth!!) with  a latin twist, crisp romaine, shaved swiss cheese, yuca croutons and creamy dressing.

GUAVA BBQ BABY BACK RIBS
Yuca's famous spicy guava BBQ baby back ribs (accept no imitation!!) Presented on crisp yuca con mojo fries and a cool chayote cole slaw.

“SOUTH BEACH” SNAPPER
Pan seared fillet of snapper with a crazy avocado rice.
Topped with a relish of sweet and hot peppers and chilli-garlic sofrito.  

GRILLED PORK TENDERLOIN
Marinated pork tenderloin grilled to order then finished with a Rioja wine reduction served with congri rice and ripe avocado ensaladita.   

 CHURRASCO
A Latin Favorite! Grilled marinated skirt steak on garlic mashed potato or congri rice with pioco de gallo and jalapeño chimichurri.

 CHEF ANDY’S PLANTAIN COATED MAHI-MAHI
The!! Original plantain coated mahi-mahi served on sweet plantain fufu with and tamarind tartar sauce.           

RAVIOLI YUCALOTTI
Our homemade spinach and ricotta ravioli with a cream of black bean, and infused with goat cheese.     

   YUCA RELLENA
A vegetarian’s delight steamed yuca filled with a truffle scented wild mushroom picadillo. Served on sautéed fresh spinach with two vibrant vinaigrettes of beef and carrot.                                                                   

POLLO CRIOLLO
Semi boneless chicken breast marinated in tropical citrus juices and grilled. Served with a citrus vinaigrette on fufu with plantain chips and avocados.
